Rainier Christian Mustangs (Covington, WA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Summit Classical Christian School Archers (Bellevue, WA), 22-19 in a league bout.

With the win, Rainier Christian upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Northwest Christian (Lacey, WA) to clash with the Wolverines in a 1B/2B Sea-Tac bout on Wednesday, December 13. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Northwest Christian lost 49-33 in their recent league bout against Pope John Paul II (Lacey, WA)

Next up, the Archers clash with the Sound Christian Lions (Tacoma, WA) in a 1B/2B Sea-Tac bout, on Wednesday, December 13. Summit Classical Christian School will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 45-31 league loss to Evergreen Lutheran (Tacoma, WA).
