Southeast Valley Jaguars (Gowrie, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting South Central Calhoun Titans (Lake City, IA), 49-32 in a league bout.

With the win, Southeast Valley upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Jaguars host Northwest Webster (Manson, IA) to play the Cougars in a Twin Lakes bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Northwest Webster lost 66-33 in their recent league bout against Sioux Central (Sioux Rapids, IA)

Next up, the Titans play the Emmetsburg E'Hawks (Emmetsburg, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. South Central Calhoun will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
