The Tuscola Mountaineers basketball team scored 33 points and held the host Andrews Wildcats to 19 in the Mountaineers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Mountaineers now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Enka for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Tuscola will battle a Jets team coming off a 30-27 non-league win over North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC). The Jets record now stands at 2-2.
The Wildcats (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Cherokee (Cherokee, NC). The Braves enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Cherokee was defeated by Franklin (Franklin, NC), 40-30, in a non-league contest.
