The Cardinal Mooney Cougars basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Sarasota Sailors to 25 in the Cougars league victory on Monday.
The Cougars now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Booker for a contest on Tuesday, December 12. Cardinal Mooney will battle a Tornadoes team coming off a 44-6 non-league win over North Port (North Port, FL). The Tornadoes record now stands at 1-1.
The Sailors (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Riverview Sarasota (Sarasota, FL). The Rams come into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record.
