In Monday's non-league match, the host West Stokes Wildcats basketball team scored a tight 22-21 triumph over the McMichael Phoenix.
In their next game, the Wildcats meet the East Surry Cardinals (Pilot Mountain, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, December 21. West Stokes will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record.
With the defeat, McMichael moves to 1-4 on the year. The Phoenix travel to T.W. Andrews (High Point, NC) to meet the Red Raiders in a non-league match on Friday, December 15. The Red Raiders enter the match with a record of 5-1. T.W. Andrews won 45-7 in their recent non-league match against Reidsville (Reidsville, NC)
