In Monday's league challenge, the Greely Rangers (Cumberland Center, ME) ice hockey team nudged the host Mt. Ararat Eagles (Topsham, ME), by a margin of 3-2.
The Rangers now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kennebunk for a Class B South challenge on Wednesday, December 13. Greely will clash with a Rams team coming off a 6-4 league win over Cape Elizabeth (Cape Elizabeth, ME). The Rams record now stands at 1-1.
The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Gorham (Gorham, ME). The Rams enter the Class B South challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Gorham tipped Brunswick (Brunswick, ME), 5-4, in a league challenge.
