Virginia High School Basketball - Floyd County knocked off by Blacksburg

The Blacksburg Bruins basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Floyd County Buffaloes to 42 in the Bruins non-league triumph on Monday.
The Bruins now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Patrick Henry for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Blacksburg will battle a Patriots team coming off a 53-44 non-league loss to Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 0-2.
The Buffaloes (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Glenvar (Salem, VA). The Highlanders enter the non-league contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Glenvar was defeated by Salem (Salem, VA), 72-38, in a non-league contest.
