The Page County Panthers (Shenandoah, VA) basketball nipped the host Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA), 40-38 in Monday's non-league test.
The Panthers (1-3) will now prepare for their test against East Rockingham (Elkton, VA). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, East Rockingham was tipped by Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA), 44-37, in a non-league test.
The Gobblers now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Rockbridge County for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 12. Broadway will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 67-19 non-league loss to Alleghany (Covington, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-4.
