Northwood Panthers (Saltville, VA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Castlewood Blue Devils (Castlewood, VA), 34-28 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Northwood upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Twin Valley (Pilgrims Knob, VA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 0-2. Twin Valley lost 46-12 in their recent non-league bout against Northwood (Saltville, VA)

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Holston Cavaliers (Damascus, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Castlewood will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
