Columbia River Rapids (Vancouver, WA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mark Morris Monarchs (Longview, WA), 67-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Columbia River upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Rapids travel to Hockinson (Brush Prairie, WA) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 14. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Hockinson lost 47-41 in their recent non-league bout against Ridgefield (Ridgefield, WA)

Next up, the Monarchs play the Woodland Beavers (Woodland, WA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 13. Mark Morris will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Beavers go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 52-27 non-league loss to Fort Vancouver (Vancouver, WA).
