Dymally Challengers (Los Angeles, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Hawkins Hawks (Los Angeles, CA), 40-23 in a league bout.

With the win, Dymally upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Challengers travel to Harbor Teacher (Wilmington, CA) to play the Monarchs in a bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Monarchs go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Harbor Teacher won 56-32 in their recent league bout against Port of Los Angeles (San Pedro, CA)

Next up, the Hawks play the Jordan Bulldogs (Los Angeles, CA) in a bout, on Wednesday, December 13. Hawkins will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 54-38 league loss to Harbor Teacher (Wilmington, CA).
