Nevada High School Basketball - Amplus Academy succumbs to Cheyenne

December 11, 2024: North Las Vegas, NV 89032

In Wednesday's league test, the Cheyenne Desert Shields (North Las Vegas, NV) basketball squad defeated the visiting Amplus Academy Archers (Las Vegas, NV), by a score of 53-43.

Next, the Desert Shields clash with the Canyon Springs Pioneers (North Las Vegas, NV) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 13. Cheyenne will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Pioneers come into the test with a 1-4 record after their 64-46 league loss to Rancho (Las Vegas, NV).

The Archers (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Southeast Career Tech (Las Vegas, NV). The Roadrunners come into the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Southeast Career Tech went down by Palo Verde (Las Vegas, NV), 84-44, in a league test.
