The DeRuyter Rockets basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting McGraw Eagles to 45 in the Rockets league triumph on Wednesday.
The Rockets now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Faith Heritage for a non-league game on Monday, December 16. DeRuyter will play a Saints team coming off a 90-63 league win over Fabius Pompey (Fabius, NY). The Saints record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, McGraw falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Otselic Valley (South Otselic, NY) to play the Vikings in a Section 3 Central Counties game on Thursday, December 19. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 1-1.
