Washington High School Basketball - Lakes nips Gig Harbor

In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Lakes Lancers basketball team scored a close 56-54 triumph over the Gig Harbor Tides.

The Lancers (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Capital (Olympia, WA). The Cougars go into the 3A Puget Sound contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Capital nipped Central Kitsap (Silverdale, WA), 53-49, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Tides battle the Lincoln Abes (Tacoma, WA) in a 3A Puget Sound contest, on Friday, December 13. Gig Harbor will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Abes go into the contest with a 3-1 record after their 66-37 league win over North Thurston (Lacey, WA).
