The Wilmington Greyhounds basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Maplewood Tigers to 36 in the Greyhounds non-league victory on Wednesday.

With the victory, Wilmington advances its record to 3-0 on the year. The Greyhounds host West Middlesex (West Middlesex, PA) to face the Big Reds in a non-league match on Friday, December 20. The Big Reds enter the match with a record of 0-3.

The Tigers now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Titusville for a non-league match on Friday, December 13. Maplewood will face a Rockets squad coming off a 49-23 non-league loss to Northwestern (Albion, PA). The Rockets record now stands at 0-4.
