The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Research Triangle Raptors (Research Triangle Park, NC) and the visiting Roxboro Community Bulldogs (Roxboro, NC), observed Research Triangle's basketball team edge Roxboro Community by a score of 57-54.

The Raptors (3-7) will now prepare for their challenge against East Wake Academy (Zebulon, NC). The Eagles come into the 1A/2A Super Six challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, East Wake Academy was tipped by Eno River Academy (Hillsborough, NC), 56-43, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Vance Charter Knights (Henderson, NC) in a 1A Triangle North challenge, on Friday, December 13. Roxboro Community will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 70-52 non-league win over Falls Lake (Creedmoor, NC).
