Virginia High School Basketball - Granby sneaks past Lake Taylor

The Granby Comets basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Lake Taylor Titans to 50 in the Comets non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Comets now possess a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Norview for a Eastern game on Friday, December 13. Granby will play a Pilots team coming off a 68-41 league loss to Maury (Norfolk, VA). The Pilots record now stands at 0-4.
With the loss, Lake Taylor falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Lakeland (Suffolk, VA) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league game on Monday, December 16. The Cavaliers go into the game with a record of 3-1. Lakeland lost 75-19 in their recent league game against Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA)
