The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Mechanicsburg Indians (Mechanicsburg, OH) and the visiting Northeastern Jets (Springfield, OH), observed Mechanicsburg's basketball team overwhelm Northeastern by a score of 48-13.

The Indians (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against West Jefferson (West Jefferson, OH). The Roughriders come into the Ohio Heritage challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, West Jefferson trounced Triad (North Lewisburg, OH), 53-18, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Jets encounter the Fairbanks Panthers (Milford Center, OH) in a Ohio Heritage challenge, on Saturday, December 14. Northeastern will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 43-36 league win over West Liberty-Salem (West Liberty, OH).
