The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the West Jefferson Roughriders (West Jefferson, OH) and the visiting Triad Cardinals (North Lewisburg, OH), observed West Jefferson's basketball team overwhelm Triad by a score of 53-18.

The Roughriders (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Mechanicsburg (Mechanicsburg, OH). The Indians come into the Ohio Heritage challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Mechanicsburg trounced Northeastern (Springfield, OH), 48-13, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Cardinals battle the West Liberty-Salem Tigers (West Liberty, OH) in a Ohio Heritage challenge, on Saturday, December 14. Triad will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 43-36 league loss to Fairbanks (Milford Center, OH).
