The Springboro Panthers basketball team scored 51 points and limited the host Fairmont Firebirds to 12 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Panthers now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Milford for a non-league game on Thursday, December 12.

With the loss, Fairmont falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Firebirds travel to Centerville (Centerville, OH) to confront the Elks in a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. The Elks go into the game with a record of 0-0.
