The Holy Ghost Prep Firebirds ice hockey team scored 6 points and held the host La Salle College Explorers to 4 in the Firebirds league victory on Wednesday.

The Firebirds now hold a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Malvern Prep for a bout on Thursday, December 12. Holy Ghost Prep will play a Friars team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Christian Brothers Academy (Lincroft, NJ). The Friars record now stands at 2-3.

With the defeat, La Salle College moves to 5-3 on the season. The Explorers host Seton Hall Prep (West Orange, NJ) to play the Pirates in a bout on Wednesday, December 18. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 1-1.
