The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Stonewall Jackson Generals (Quicksburg, VA) and the visiting Riverheads Gladiators (Staunton, VA), observed Stonewall Jackson's basketball team edge Riverheads by a score of 40-34.

The Generals (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA). The Bison come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Buffalo Gap was tipped by Nelson County (Lovingston, VA), 50-35, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Gladiators encounter the Central Woodstock Falcons (Woodstock, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Riverheads will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 44-42 non-league win over Sherando (Stephens City, VA).
