North Carolina High School Basketball - Seventy-First knocks off South View

December 11, 2024: Hope Mills, NC 28348

The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Seventy-First Falcons (Fayetteville, NC) and the host South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC), observed Seventy-First's basketball team overcome South View by a margin of 70-56.

The Falcons (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC). The Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Gray's Creek dropped by Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC), 63-36, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Douglas Byrd Eagles (Fayetteville, NC) in a challenge, on Friday, January 3. South View will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 61-45 non-league loss to Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC).
