Georgia High School Basketball - Heritage triumphant over Atlanta Jewish Academy

The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Heritage Hawks (Newnan, GA) and the visiting Atlanta Jewish Academy Jaguar (Atlanta, GA), observed Heritage's basketball team overwhelm Atlanta Jewish Academy by a margin of 82-19.
The Hawks (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Fayette County trounced Spalding (Griffin, GA), 80-77, in a league challenge.
Next up, the Jaguar face the Holy Spirit Prep Cougars (Atlanta, GA) in a GIAA AA Region 1 match, on Tuesday, December 16. Atlanta Jewish Academy will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 2-4 record after their 62-59 league loss to St. Mary's Academy (Fairburn, GA).
