The Carver College and Career Academy Wolverines defeated the visiting West Point Pointers basketball squad by a final score of 58-47 in Thursday's league outing.
Next, the Wolverines play the Cumberland Dukes (Cumberland, VA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 13. Carver College and Career Academy will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record.
With the loss, West Point falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Pointers host Essex (Tappahannock, VA) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Friday, December 12. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
