In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Central Christian Crusaders basketball team scored a close 64-60 triumph over the Trinity Christian School of Griffin LIONS.
The Crusaders (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Holy Ground Baptist Academy (Roopville, GA). The Stallions go into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Holy Ground Baptist Academy was nudged by Covington Academy (Covington, GA), 55-25, in a non-league match.
The LIONS now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Peoples Baptist Academy for a non-league match on Friday, December 12. Trinity Christian School of Griffin will face a Knights squad coming off a 56-45 league loss to Grace Christian (Columbus, GA). The Knights record now stands at 0-2.
