The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Osakis Silverstreaks (Osakis, MN) and the visiting Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Thunder (Long Prairie, MN), observed Osakis's basketball team overwhelm Long Prairie-Grey Eagle by a score of 60-35.
The Silverstreaks (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Mora (Mora, MN). The Mustangs enter the AA Section 6 battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Mora walloped Crosby-Ironton (Crosby, MN), 84-34, in a league battle.
The Thunder now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Benson for a non-league contest on Friday, December 12. Long Prairie-Grey Eagle will battle a team coming off a 56-51 non-league win over Wheaton (Wheaton, MN). The record now stands at 2-0.
