The Marion Mustangs basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting White Lake Lakers to 41 in the Mustangs league triumph on Thursday.
The Mustangs now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tigerton for a Central Wisconsin - North outing on Saturday, December 13. Marion will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 85-26 non-league win over Port Edwards (Port Edwards, WI). The Tigers record now stands at 4-0.
The Lakers (0-2) will now prepare for their outing against Northland Lutheran (Mosinee, WI). The Wildcats enter the Central Wisconsin - North outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Northland Lutheran was defeated by Great Plains Lutheran (Watertown, SD), 88-28, in a non-league outing.
