Washington, DC High School Basketball - Washington Leadership Academy overwhelms Maya Angelou Public Charter

The Washington Leadership Academy Knights basketball team scored 56 points and limited the host Maya Angelou Public Charter to 10 in the Knights league triumph on Thursday.
Next, the Knights clash with the Richard Wright Public Charter School Spartans (Washington, DC) in a PCSAA A test, on Friday, December 12. Washington Leadership Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Spartans come into the test with a 1-4 record after their 44-33 league win over Washington Latin Public Charter School (Washington, DC).
The (0-3) will now prepare for their bout against BASIS (Washington, DC). The Red Giants go into the PCSAA A bout with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, BASIS was ripped by KIPP DC Legacy College Prep (Washington, DC), 100-25, in a league bout.
