Ohio High School Basketball - Springfield toppled by Mineral Ridge

Mineral Ridge Rams (Mineral Ridge, OH) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their basketball team thwart the visiting Springfield Tigers (New Middletown, OH), 39-29 in a league contest.

The Rams (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Memorial (Campbell, OH). The Red Devils go into the Mahoning Valley - Scarlet contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Memorial was topped by Girard (Girard, OH), 55-34, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers confront the Crestview Rebels (Columbiana, OH) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 13. Springfield will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Rebels enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 69-21 non-league win over Academy for Urban Scholars (Youngstown, OH).
