In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls basketball team scored a big 51-8 triumph over the Artesia Bulldogs.
The Cavemen/Cavegirls (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Hobbs (Hobbs, NM). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Hobbs was trounced by Portales (Portales, NM), 67-47, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Roswell Coyotes (Roswell, NM) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 13. Artesia will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
