The Indians enter the match with a record of 4-5. Groveton won 45-20 in their recent non-league match against Wells (Wells, TX)

The Hornets now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to High Island for a 1A Region IV District 28 contest on Tuesday, December 16. Goodrich will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 44-16 league loss to Spurger (Spurger, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-5.
