The Big Sandy Wildcats basketball squad scored 47 points and restricted the host Hull-Daisetta Bobcats to 25 in the Wildcats non-league win on Thursday.

Next, the Wildcats clash with the Groveton Indians (Groveton, TX) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 12. Big Sandy will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Indians come into the test with a 4-5 record after their 45-20 non-league win over Wells (Wells, TX).

With the loss, Hull-Daisetta falls to 0-10 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Spurger (Spurger, TX) to play the Pirates in a 1A Region IV District 28 bout on Friday, January 2. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 6-5.
