Prairie View Academy Spartans (Bastrop, LA) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Franklin Academy Cougars (Winnsboro, LA), 45-14 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Prairie View Academy upgrades its record to 7-6 on the year. The Spartans host Union Christian Academy (Farmerville, LA) to confront the Lions in a non-league contest on Saturday, December 13. The Lions go into the contest with a record of 1-0. Union Christian Academy won 48-27 in their recent non-league contest against Mount Olive Christian (Athens, LA)

In their next game, the Cougars confront the Riverdale Academy Rebels (Coushatta, LA) in a contest, on Tuesday, January 6. Franklin Academy will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.
