The French Settlement Lions basketball team scored 50 points and limited the host Walker Wildcats to 40 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Lions now have a 7-1 record. They play next when they host East St. John for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 16. French Settlement will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 52-23 non-league win over Patterson (Patterson, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, Walker falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, LA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Monday, December 15. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 6-0. Parkview Baptist won 74-41 in their recent non-league outing against Istrouma (Baton Rouge, LA)
