The Phillipsburg Panthers basketball team scored 52 points and limited the host Russell Broncos to 21 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Panthers now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Smith Center for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 13. Phillipsburg will clash with a Redmen squad coming off a 48-34 non-league loss to Ellsworth (Ellsworth, KS). The Redmen record now stands at 1-1.
