The Sandburg Eagles basketball team scored 43 points and limited the host Lincoln-Way West Warriors to 31 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now have a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Antioch for a non-league game on Saturday, December 13.

With the loss, Lincoln-Way West falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Lockport (Lockport, IL) to confront the Porters in a game on Saturday, January 3. The Porters go into the game with a record of 5-4.
