The Acorn Tigers basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Kirby Trojans to 51 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Tigers now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dierks for a 2A Region 7 contest on Tuesday, December 13.
The Trojans (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Blevins (Blevins, AR). The Hornets enter the 1A Region 7 contest with a 3-10 record. In their last contest, Blevins ran past Oden (Oden, AR), 48-35, in a league contest.
