The Mintz Christian Academy Lions basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Antioch Christian Academy Gators to 39 in the Lions league triumph on Monday.
The Lions now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grace Christian for a contest on Thursday, January 5. Mintz Christian Academy will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 64-36 league loss to Liberty Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-3.
The Gators (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Cornerstone Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC). The Cougars enter the Carolinas Christian contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Cornerstone Christian Academy ran past Columbus Christian Academy (Whiteville, NC), 64-41, in a league contest.
