The Stephenson Eagles basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Carney-Nadeau Wolves to 46 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Monday.
The Eagles now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bark River-Harris for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. Stephenson will meet a Broncos team coming off a 53-52 non-league loss to Rapid River (Rapid River, MI). The Broncos record now stands at 1-2.
The Wolves (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against North Central (Powers, MI). The Jets enter the Central Upper Peninsula contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, North Central ran past Superior Central (Eben Junction, MI), 69-18, in a league contest.
