The East Carter Raiders (Grayson, KY) basketball nipped the host Greenup County Musketeers (Greenup, KY), 62-61 in Monday's non-league test.

The Raiders (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Lewis County (Vanceburg, KY). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Lewis County was tipped by Boyd County (Ashland, KY), 76-40, in a non-league test.

The Musketeers now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Prestonsburg for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 13. Greenup County will encounter a Black Cats squad coming off a 61-47 league loss to Floyd Central (Eastern, KY). The Black Cats record now stands at 4-1.
