Texas High School Basketball - George Ranch nipped by Fort Bend Hightower

The Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes tipped the visiting George Ranch Longhorns basketball team by a final score of 57-53 in Monday's league game.

In their next game, the Hurricanes face the Fort Bend Elkins Knights (Missouri City, TX) in a 6A Region III District 20 game, on Friday, December 16. Fort Bend Hightower will attempt to move on its 10-6 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 10-3 record after their 49-47 league win over Fort Bend Bush (Richmond, TX).

With the defeat, George Ranch moves to 8-10 on the year. The Longhorns host Fort Bend Dulles (Sugar Land, TX) to face the Vikings in a 6A Region III District 20 game on Friday, December 16. The Vikings enter the game with a record of 8-9. Fort Bend Dulles won 70-43 in their recent non-league game against Randle (Richmond, TX)
