In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Harlan Green Dragons basketball team scored a good 73-61 triumph over the Pikeville Panthers.
In their next game, the Green Dragons meet the Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 20. Harlan will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record.
With the defeat, Pikeville moves to 1-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to East Ridge (Lick Creek, KY) to meet the Warriors in a District 59 match on Friday, December 16. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 4-3. East Ridge lost 59-44 in their recent non-league match against Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY)
