In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Universal Stars basketball squad scored a nice 55-35 victory over the Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park Hawks.

With the victory, Universal improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Stars travel to Argo (Summit, IL) to confront the Argonauts in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 16. The Argonauts come into the challenge with a record of 1-9. Argo lost 75-28 in their recent league challenge against Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL)

Next up, the Hawks confront the Beacon Academy Trailblazers (Evanston, IL) in a Lakeshore challenge, on Wednesday, December 14. Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Trailblazers come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 55-46 league win over Wolcott School (Chicago, IL).
