The Memorial Day Matadors (Savannah, GA) basketball crushed the host John Paul II Golden Warrriors (Ridgeland, SC), 70-23 in Monday's non-league test.

The Matadors (5-0) will now prepare for their test against Jenkins (Savannah, GA). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Jenkins was trounced by Statesboro (Statesboro, GA), 39-34, in a league test.

The Golden Warrriors now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to The Habersham School for a non-league test on Friday, December 16. John Paul II will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 65-63 non-league loss to David Emanuel Academy (Stillmore, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 4-3.
