The Broad Run Spartans ran past the visiting Loudoun County Captains basketball team by a final score of 57-49 in Monday's league game.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Liberty Eagles (Bealeton, VA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, December 14. Broad Run will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record.

With the defeat, Loudoun County moves to 0-1 on the year. The Captains host Park View (Sterling, VA) to face the Patriots in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 17. The Patriots enter the game with a record of 0-0.
