Alabama High School Basketball - Meek overwhelmed by Cold Springs

The Cold Springs Eagles basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Meek Tigers to 23 in the Eagles non-league victory on Monday.

The Eagles now sport a 11-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Locust Fork for a 2A Area 11 contest on Friday, December 16. Cold Springs will battle a Hornets team coming off a 62-39 non-league loss to Springville (Springville, AL). The Hornets record now stands at 5-3.

The Tigers (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Oakman (Oakman, AL). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 0-12 record. In their last contest, Oakman was routed by Minor (Adamsville, AL), 82-2, in a non-league contest.
