With the victory, Stafford upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Portland (Portland, CT) to play the Highlanders in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 14. The Highlanders come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Crusaders play the Bolton Bulldogs (Bolton, CT) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. East Granby will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 49-20 non-league win over Lyman Memorial (Lebanon, CT).
