Georgia High School Basketball - Lanier County can't hold off Echols County

The Echols County Wildcats basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Lanier County Bulldogs to 44 in the Wildcats league triumph on Monday.
The Wildcats now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valwood for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 5. Echols County will battle a Valiants team coming off a 39-37 non-league win over Fullington Academy (Pinehurst, GA). The Valiants record now stands at 2-3.
The Bulldogs (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Wilcox County (Rochelle, GA). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record.
