The Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (Missouri City, TX) basketball knocked off the host George Ranch Longhorns (Richmond, TX), 51-31 in Monday's league test.
The Hurricanes (16-2) will now prepare for their test against Fort Bend Elkins (Missouri City, TX). The Knights go into the 6A Region III District 20 test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, Fort Bend Elkins notched a victory over Fort Bend Bush (Richmond, TX), 47-44, in a league test.
The Longhorns now own a 11-8 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Bend Dulles for a 6A Region III District 20 test on Friday, December 16. George Ranch will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 73-28 league loss to Fort Bend Hightower (Missouri City, TX). The Vikings record now stands at 3-11.
